"I say them things on purpose,” he wrote. “If U notice I say people names at the end of the interview. In my mind Im thinking I just dropped a deep interview but I have to say some super ignorant shit to bring people to even watch it so I said a name or 2… I just been doing this for a while and I understand how the Hip Hop media works..I hope those 2 guys understand it was simply a strategy and not personal at all.. Though I DONT agree with their content. I do not want to cause them any harm or see them harmed.”

The only problem i got with this shit is Saigon already apologized to Ross and copped pleas about another interview saying he was "misquoted". So now u saying the same thing u was allegedly misquoted as saying.

Nigga soundin bi polar now

I like Saigon's music and what he is trying to do but I gotta cosign this 100%. Hopefully he will not back track from this statement he just made though.

Like they said in the interview though if he can figure out a way to put the medicine in the candy aka make his songs catchy with a message and just worry about his self because the fans and artists aren't like the old days. Him calling out others like he did in this interview will hurt him more than help. Which is sad but unfortunately true.

I been a fan since his early mixtapes. Saigon does talk uplifting shit and you see how far that gets you in the "Entertainment" world. Niggas dont want uplifting, they want drugs, hoes, violence. Just like with movies. How many peoplewatch documentaries vs. action flicks?

Saigon's fault is singling Rick Ross out makes him sound like a bitter hater(even thro he spittin truth). He already said "why would i shit on someone who showed me love(ross) in the beginning. Butnow u switchin up again.

But u see theheadline in this thread. Thats the part of the interview thats newsworthy..smh

I know Saigon tries to talk about positive stuff. But like DJ Envy said you gotta figure out a way to package it for people to enjoy it. He even used Kendrick as an example which was a perfect example i my opinion.

In another thread you had people trying to say the Swimming Pools was just some catchy dumb song but it was evident they didn't really listen to what Kendrick was truly talking about in that song. LOL. It is a solid single for Kendrick and the best part was it has a message. If Saigon can figure out how to do what Kendrick did with that single he would be on his way

"In the late 1990s, Brian "Saigon" Carenard was sentenced to jail time at Napanoch’s Eastern Correctional Facility, serving a sentence for first-degree assault after shooting at someone in a bar"

"On August 22, 2007, Saigon was arrested in Manhattan on felony weapon charges."

"At the end of 2008, Saigon became a father. His daughter's name is Rayne Dior Carenard and she was the inspiration for his single "Fatherhood"

getting locked up, children out of wedlock............ And he wants to talk about being a good influence with kids.

Not too long ago, Sai squashed a possible beef with Rick Ross..

"Ross is my nigga and I never singled him out abt the fucked up state of Hip Hop... 99% of the artist make that shit so it wouldnt make sense to single out Rick Ross.....," he tweeted.

"@rickyrozay Peace my Nigga, I have no idea where that bullshit on that website came from homie. U know its all love over here, alsways been," he continued. "@rickyrozay I thought niggas was done using me to look like the the Disgruntled Postal Worker of rap.... Salute ya grind all day."

"Ross is one of the few niggas who ever extended his hand to me before. Mad love for @rickyrozay so with that said. Its a dead issue. MRA," wrote Sai. "As I said the last time I seen @rickyrozay He said "if U need anything, just holla" I never did but he extended that to me. Thats Love. I would never shit on a person who extended his hand to me to help me... Yall are some real STUPID muthafuckas... LOL."

he probably got shitted on by "rap fans" on twitter, so he said this as damage control
