There are plenty of artists that put out alternatives. However, the fans ignore it, the suits shun it, and majority of these "rappers" CAN'T do it.

I like Saigon's music and what he is trying to do but I gotta cosign this 100%. Hopefully he will not back track from this statement he just made though.
Like they said in the interview though if he can figure out a way to put the medicine in the candy aka make his songs catchy with a message and just worry about his self because the fans and artists aren't like the old days. Him calling out others like he did in this interview will hurt him more than help. Which is sad but unfortunately true.
