Summers over and school is back in session.

My challenge for the IC is simple:

For those of us that didn't have the summer16 body we wanted, today is Day 1 for summer body 17,18,19 and beyond.

Fall is coming so it's time to get serious.

Personally I love the solemn and sober winter months.

So let this be your Fall of Foundation. Set the roots for increased health and fitness. Commit, commit, commit. Start logging calories, take 5000 steps, cut out soda. Whatever your goals are, just do it.

I'll see you guys in a few months.

So I've been going to the gym 5 days a week since last Monday and somehow I've gained 4 pounds. Wtf is going on? Eating habits are the same (which is pretty good imo).

My goal is 140 lbs. Waist 26 inches, toned all over.

I'm currently 156lbs as of this morning. Last monday I was 152lbs. I've been using weights and doing 20 minutes of cardio each day.

My meal plan

400 cals for breakfast

400 cals for lunch

700 cals or less for dinner..

Total of about 1500 cals per day. & I keep it the same everyday.

I just purchased a fitbit to track how many calories I burn every day because all I know is that I burn only 200 calories with the cardio.. Unsure of how much I burn with the weights. Should be delivered on Thursday ;)

What is the food DENSITY of your meals? You are eating a decent amount of calories. Tgats step 1. Step two is THE NUTRITIONAL QUALITY of these calories. If you gain more fat than muscle you should check

The % of processed food you eat

Soda and pops you drink

The fiberless fructose of your fruit juices

The balance between healthy fats and carbs. One has to largely dominate the other. Two sources of energy is too mucj for your metabolism. It results in excess insulin secretion and FAT STORAGE, thing you wanted to avoid by eating less than 2000 calories.

20 mns of 12 kgs of kettlebell swings burns more and tone a lot of muscle. YET

A BAD AND ILL ADVISED DIET WILL FUCK UP ALL YOUR EFFORTS.

DIET IS 70 % OF YOUR RESULTS.

That being said im on week 3 of eating more healthy fats than carbs that are been reduced.

Ive more energy. Im back on the 88 lbs kettlebell training. Still did 265 chest reps last monday.

The bigger change is my COGNITIVE ACTIVITY. My memory works better, im less tired, i can learn more even after a good training session. And i havent lost any muscle mass.

But i wont jump to conclusion quickly. Lets see how i feel in 3 weeks.

Are you doing LCHF Lem? I don't have a lot of experience, but I have done a lot of research on it. If you are have been in an caloric deficit for a long time and cannot lose weight. I would look into the LCHF lifestyle.

70% Fat, 20% Protein, 10% Carbs

All im making sure is that healthy fats supply is superior than carbs supply.

Once again we dont need all those amounts of carbs to function properly.

Our body create glucose when it needs it. And when you lack of energy it burns fat storage.

Our body is well designed. All the extra stuff is UNNECESSARY. One cannot have lots of carbs and fats at the same time.

And fat got the LOWEST INSULINE RESPONSE.

@LPast the key is FIBERS. It regulate your satiety system. You hunger is real and no more driven by

SUGARS

FRUCTOSE

INSULINE spikes

Thats why i highly recommend you to stop drinking these fruit juices. You get high fructose without fibers and you eat more fruits than you would have if you d them NATURAL.

Healthy and dollar saving aka EFFICIENT.

Ive done

88 lbs kb front squats

44 lbs snatch - lunges

88 lbs kb raws

Im learning right now and IM STILL NOT HUNGRY.

Ill take some milk before bed and some cheese for pleasure. A month ago i would automatically have eaten pasta and chicken.

Im

We are prpud of you our kettlebell queen and beloved /respekted sistahh.

Then

If you havent noticed the way the kb is picked up in the first vid is different from the second vid. It depends on the weight and your arm/wrists strenght.

I suggest you start with the second vid.

Finally dont forget to

Inhale VACUUM STYLE

Maintaining a flat back

And exhaling while pressing skywards contracting the abs, the thights, the buttocks!!!

Inhale when you put it on the ground.

Contraction is one again the key to optimyze your strenght

So you seem to be doing just fine. The problem is your genetics. Most likely you are able to gain muscle very easily, so the weight you have gained is muscle weight. Also sometimes you gain before you lose.. this happened to me.

I suggest that you keep measurements of your waist, neck, hips, and torso. This way you can accurately see whats going on with your body.

To truly lose weight with your size you may have to stop lifting weights or reduce it to 2 to 3 times a week. You should be doing more cardiovascular activities like sprinting, burpees, high jumps, and so on. Also since you are already thin you should look into more rigorous ab workouts.

As for being shredded, it will take some dieting, sprints, and time.
