In light of the recent sudden death of a young champion body builder, i beg you all to get your annual physical.

i know that's rich coming from a guy that does his own sutures... but still.

Seen a guy from Ireland died the day after competing but he was 54, same guy?

No A younger one.

Man I ran 10K with no problem the other day. I think I have hit my stride.

Now I have my neighborhood run that has several large hills to conquer. It is about 5.4 miles long. I average about 10 minutes a mile. If I can get that down to my 8 minute a mile average. Then I know my race average will be down to 6 minute miles.

Half marathon on Thanksgiving day is what I am preparing for.

I should have been contributed to this thread.

This is what I have been doing for the past few years. The ultimate energy/wellness drink/meal.

This is very affordable ($30-$60/week) and usually lasts me about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks.

Meal in a bottle...

What's a good vegetable blend? And what fruit/vegetable you think is the most important and gives you the most energy?

I guess it all depends on your individual pallet. Really I just throw everything in and go. I used to use honey or agave as a sweetener but now that's too sweet for me.

One thing I can advise on an energy booster is to throw in a little bit of cayenne pepper. Cayenne makes the blood run a little faster through the veins and helps with cleansing. You should feel it almost instantly. It's more of a clear awareness than a jittery energy if that makes any sense.

But our bodies need all of this and it will turn it all into energy.

Blueberries are good for the brain amongst other things...

@neighborhoodnomad., you add water or anything? or you just let the juice from the fruit give it the liquid consistency

I only add a few oz. of water when I'm drinking it to smoothen out the consistency a little. I find that when I add water the mix doesn't seem to last as many days, but maybe it's just coincidental.

If I add water while I'm blending, it's usually aloe juice/water, but still just a little bit, maybe a cup at max. Sometimes some pomegranate juice.

The natural juices seem to preserve the mixture better and a little longer for me.

Sidenote: If you add pineapple or melons it wont last the whole two weeks. I don't know why?...

so, you prepare those huge mason jars and just ration them out over the next few days or something?

I just evenly distribute the mixtures into one of those metal sports containers. Its about 3 cups so a cup of each and shake it up.

Another 16 miles this morning. I am cutting down my time tremendously and have tweaked my bike to get the most out of my ride.

I have made this trek 13 times in the past 30 days. Lovin it. I may kick it up a notch and ride 5 times a week instead of 4.
