Workout 2 was definitely easier than workout 1.

500 KB swings, 50 dips.

I'm all banged up so this will be a nice break.

Of the 4 strength movements I'm doing (chins, dips, front squat, deadlift) I decided to throw out deadlifts and replace them with handstand pushups.

1,000 swings down, 9,000 to go (18 workouts).

@Wall on that kb challenge how does the rest periods work? i was reading it and i dont understand do i rest 20-30 seconds between the rep and after i do my fifty swings i take a 2-3 minute rest, or so i do my first reps of swings take a 20-30 second rest and then a 2-3 minute rest after my fifty swings?

I believe you can take a 30 sec rest after each set of swings and strength movement, and a 3 minute rest after the 50 swings.

@ibestrokin

This the way I do it.

10 swings

Strength movement

15 swings

Strength movement

25 swings

Strength movement

60 second rest

50 swings (25 swings, 30 sec rest, 25 swings).

3 minute rest

The way I plan on tackling that 50 swings is to add 5 swings to it each week.

So this week I'm breaking it ip in 25 x 2. Next week I'll go 30 swings, rest 30 sec then 20 swings. Week 3 I'll go 35 swings, rest 30 sec 15 swings. Week 4 I'll go 40 swings, rest 30 sec, 10 swings. Then week 5 I'll be belting out the whole 50 at once.

Keep in mind, if your form starts to falter, you may need to take a little longer rest times until you can build up the conditioning to power through each swing with perfect form.

How long the workout lasts depends on your level of conditioning. But your 20th workout time should smash your 1st workout time.

@alliknowishate

If y'all going to do the challenge, make sure you do your strength movement for the right rep schemes. Follow the t-nation article for the most part.
