What it seems like is, Ms.S should have catered to some fragile egos...while most statements made by men are blanket, for a woman to say such a thing is seen as derogatory, and insensitive. Interesting.

By not wanting to couple with a man that has no goals, ambition, or means, she is somehow seen as unworthy. It was all part of the convo several of us were having. A couple of men didn't like what I said and one in paticular told my man I was a gold digger. Which he couldn't be more wrong... I bring alot to the table which is why we are going on 2 years strong.

And if that friend chooses to place me in the same catagory as the chick who parent's her own man... so be it.

MY MAN had no issues with my statement... again he agreed with what I said because he feels the same way when it comes to me. His friend was probably insulted because maybe he has money issues or whatever.
