I dont think anyone in this thread is actually against college...I think the general arguement is college isnt the only way to get ahead in life, therefore shouldnt be viewed as the only option if you want to be successful in this country..

And for real bruh. The only logical extension of your argument is "what's the point of high school?" Or any schooling for that matter. Did I miss something? Was there a paradigm shift where the world was led by people with a GED. yo, I think people have to understand that this has nothing to do with statistics. a person with a drive to succeed will find a way to succeed. A person with a drive will take school more serious then others, use it as a stepping stone and succeed in life. A person with a drive to succeed may see work as a stepping stone, and while his or her friends are at the club every weekend spending their checks, the person with a drive will save his money, flip it, and find a way to succeed.

I honestly feel that there is nothing stopping me from succeeding in life, and I could succeed regardless of the circumstance, whether its through school or business, cause I already decided that I'm gonna have millions.

I hate talking about me and what i did or do, but just to let y'all know, my last two jobs before I started my business, one paid 48,000, and I quit that cause I got offered a position and started making 62,000. I did that without a degree.

Before those two jobs, I started working at a hess express, I was pumping fads for 7.50 an hour, in 9 months I got promoted to sales associate and then assistant manager making $13 an hour. Exactly 6 months after that, I got another promotion and became the youngest store manager in my district, getting a salary of 42,000 before I turned 20. I coulda stayed with hess and easily became a district manager staring at 65,000, then became a region manager making 6 figures, all that woulda happened without a degree too.

All I'm saying is, a person with a will to succeed and a drive and hunger is more important then any degree and that's the person who succeeds, regardless of the way he or she chooses to do so.
