About $12

It was on How I Got Over by The Roots. Last album I ever bought.

Prior to that I used to spend hundreds every year. Be it going to shows or copping vynils and CDs. Especially before 2007.

I went through a phase when I was buying albums from Amazon. I've probably spent $100 on Hip Hop CDs in the past 10 years.

But I also collect vinyl. I've probably spent over $500 on Hip Hop vinyl since 2007.

Thats a total of $600 on Hip Hop music over the past 10 years.

When I was younger, before the internet, I would spend about $100 per year on Hip Hop albums.

Are we factoring in bootleg sales....then it's tens and tens of dollars.....if you would have said 20 years..then it would have been thousands...shows, cds, etc...but with the internet and bootleggers...not to mention aux/usb/bluetooth car inputs....

I'm just talking about buying albums and singles. Not live shows.

3 bucks. Bought a mixtape from Coss to enter into a contest and I won lol got a signed vinyl copy of his debut album.

Before 2004 I was buying a new cd every 2 weeks

Erm I bought Watch the Throne. No, my brother bought it for me.

I'm on Spotify so divide the rap songs I have saved by the number of songs total then multiply that by 9.99.

No idea.....i buy albums of artists i feel deserve it...joe budden, kendrick, logic.....etc

Just bought a car and new cars dont have cd players so its $10 a month for spotify

How u not gonna count live shows if thats how artists make most they money these days?

I probably spent over $30 coins on rap music. Since I was introduced to bootlegging and the internet, there is no point in buying albums. I only buy an album if I'm familiar with the artist, but that's a rarity.

Around the 200 mark, But when I first discovered Hip Hop back in 1997 until around 2006 I spent a lot more on albums, Spent a fortune on Nas albums I even bought 2 Jay albums, my uncle was a bootlegger and he charged me for that shit the man was like a magician to me being on the internet in the year 2000.
