Hope not. You should NEVER use your debit card to online shop, pay at a restaurant and a few other places. That shit is a huge security risk, since it leads directly to your checking account. If someone hijacks your number, you have to go through hell and back just to get your account reimbursed (and that depends on the liability of your bank, you might be fucked altogether).

200 monthly on RRSP and 700 monthly on TFSA. Then another 1,000 per month on high interest savings account but it's for business startup so will be taken out sometime this year. My mortgage has been paid off recently so I got major room to save without stress. 26 and counting, with business venture going right, Millie by 30!!

You build credit so people know you're good for the money. If a nigga pays his bills on time for 10 years straight, chances are he's not going to default on any new loan given to him.

Not to mention countless deals you get for having good credit. You get all those x% back in cash, frequent flyer miles if you're a business man or like to travel, 0% rates for a certain amount of time etc. It allows you great flexibility when making (large) purchases.

... I've never heard why using credit is bad.

might i add....no wealthy person you know uses credit. credit is just a scale of how much debt people can trust you with and you'll pay it back. you don't become wealthy with using credit. to each his own though. i could care less about cash back or free flights when i have to spend money to get those things. might as well just pay for the flight outright
