A fullsize salad from Wendy's is 6.50. Just a fuckin salad my nigga. But i can get a Bacon cheeseburger, fries, nuggets, and drink for only $4!
Well i wouldnt use Wendy's as an example lol But thats true
Even in grocery shopping if u eatin whatever u want you can buy 100 tv dinners at like 2 bucks a pop.
On the flip you gotta buy a lot of shit to eat healthy, AND if you work out and lift and ain't just eatin like a little girly man u supposed to eat 5, 6, 7 meals and small meals/snacks a day. Shit aint cheap

Through the week I'm eating grilled chicken and broccoli and ish. Sometimes I'll substitute the chicken for a steak and in the morning I'll do a green smoothie for breakfast.
Like I say I take about a day out of the week and eat kinda like I want to. I don't get out of hand though. The healthy stuff is expensive and quite honestly doesn't taste as good as the unhealthy stuff either.
It kinda helps when you change your mindset and look at food as a source of nutrition and energy and not something pleasurable due to its tastiness.

I posted earlier about this. You can make respectable sized meals for about $2 a meal. Healthy, delicious meals.

Case in point, I see more weed dispensaries in Detroit than supermarkets and that shit ain't been legal that long.
No it is not. It is less e,pimsive to eat healthier for a week then it would be to eat fast food for a weak
It is cheaper to make your own food than to eat out.
$10 on 2- 14 pack of chicken drumsticks
$3 on a 3-lbs of black beans
$4 on 3-lbs of brown rice
$6 on tomato paste, sauce, oil for a stew
$8 on various spices and seasoning
$8 on frozen normandy blend mega bag (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, squash)
$40 total (approx)
The rice, beans, sauce and spices last at least a month. The chicken is gone in 4 weeks (freeze the unused ones). Essentially I have lunch for the month at $1.33 a meal. Grilled chicken, black beans and rice with steamed veggies and Nigerian tomato stew.
At my internship the people there do the DC food trucks every day. At least $8-12 dollars per meal downtown. Sure, eating out tastes way better, not gonna lie. But do the math.
$40 for lunch for a month vs $200 in lunch take out. Might not be much if your making good bread, but for those at the lower end of the income pole, every dollar counts. $160 over 6 months is almost $1,000. That's enough to upgrade your wardrobe or get yourself a very nice treat.
I usually bring lunch M-F then eat out once on Saturday and one on Sunday. Moderation man.
Do you really eat that everyday tho?
I think what people confuse cheap for convenience...
Honestly its just too easy to go to a fast food joint and pay 5 bucks for something you can eat in the car...
I honestly dont have time to heat the food up and sit down and eat for lunch...im lucky if i get time for a solid breakfast...
And this is not counting the prep time at home...
That said, the key to everything is moderation...
People who say they will NEVER drink soda but drink sugary almond milk everyday are ridiculous ...or people who swear off mcdonalds but drench salads and meat in sugar and fat laden sauces..

Key word is make. Takes a lot prep time, discipline, cooking, planning, etc.
Definitely doable but man...tough. Especially when you work a 9-5.

From beginning to end, it takes me about 3 hours to shop for supplies, cook and package the food. I usually do this on Sunday evenings. Food is good for 2 weeks. At first it takes time, but with practice you become a lot more efficient.

Im not saying its impossible. But it damn sure aint easy and you're not shopping for AND preparing food ---for 2 weeks--- in 3 hours total lol
And what food are you eating thats good for 2 weeks ?!?!

That is fundamentally WRONG. All calories are equal that's a fact. You will lose or gain the same amount of weight by either eating at a surplus/restrictive diet with junk food or what could be considered "healthy"(Ie apples aren't that healthy they lack nutrients and has way to much sugar)
Just simply say that overall different food contain different nutrients level.
Overall it's usually at the very least accepted that you should be hitting 30g protien 30g fat 40g of carbs though for different people different things work. You can easily hit the protien limit with fast food but the same time the myth that eating healthy is expensive still plagues are society
. The CHEMICALS and REFINED SUGAR in fast and processed foods are eessentially whats wrong for our bodies. Aint no way im going back to that lefestyle.
