Bro I already said in another post that :

Marvin = Most overrated in the history of the game.

Anybody who does not agree please explain cause this is pretty obvious to me.

Marvin < Issac, Holt, TO, Steve Smith, Randy, Larry, Andre, Reggie Wayne, Chad, Roddy, Marshall. Got tired but there are hundreds more and that is the one's who played in his day alltime is a joke

I don't agree, so could you explain why......going by stats, Marvin is up there with some of the best, can't deny the numbers.....Numbers are better the Irvin's who's in the HOF.

How is that a dumb quote, just my opinion they wasn't winnin without him

Look at his playoff numbers, the year they won he didn't make any plays, not one. The one time Manning threw to him in the AFC championship and in the Bowl they were both Picked. Manning didn't look for him again and the rest is history.

Are you serious ?

Marvin can not get away from one on one bump and Run. He is not tough, fast or big enough. Torry Holt, Issac Bruce, and Steve Smith made plays on the Pats in the Bowl. Where was Marvin getting drove out of bounds by Ty Law on a jam. Also he is not a go getter IE. throw it up and he can go get it. To even bold Steve Smith I question your Football IQ. Steve took the Panthers to the NFC championship by himself with Jake Del homie throwing to him or should I say just throwing it up hoping. Steve can take a wr screen to the house LOL. Stats don't always tell the story look at his highlights and you will notice a play action fake leading to him being wide open over the top. The problem with being a play action receiver is that in the playoffs corners don't look in the backfield, you are on your own and Marvin couldn't handle that not one game. Dude been in like twenty playoff games and may have 1 hundred yard game. That should be good enough for your explanation.

Irvin had great stats and wouldve been top 3 if it werent for injuries his year to year stats are great his career ended early and his team was primarily a running team and his qb didnt put up numbers but he did

So you believe Marvin is better than Steve Smith with Jake Del Homie throwing it to him, stop it. Since Marvin left the offense has dropped off none if you take Steve Smith out of Carolina the franchise would not be in Carolina anymore

unfortunatley he wont be remembered by most for being a great player like he should b/c he was quiet...he will be remembered to be an undercover thug by most

That doesn't erase everything he has accomplished. Now you be serious. You can't deny his numbers. Now go and put his numbers up with some of those players you listed.

LOL yeah Manning and Del Homie is not a big difference at all my bad. Wonder why Wayne, Collie, Clark all did fine with a guy who not much better than Del Homie
