lord jamar is an old bitter racist piece of scum. mad that he is famous in a culture that doesnt respect their elders and tries to get attention by being a hate monger.

^Like I said before, white people don't like outspoken black people. If they speak on race they're accused of reverse racism.

no we don't like racist black people. i personally don't like racists of any race. im sure the black people on here don't like white people telling black people they arent as welcome to do something as whites. so why the double standard? can't you hold yourself to the same standard as you hold white people or do you need extra priveleges? lord jamar is an uneducated p.o.s. who is mad that his time has passed.

Fly away with your reverse psychology.

The majority of you polar bears don't like Black People period. And it has nothing to do with your lying, cowardly and inaccurate title of Blacks being racist. Address your racist cultural history and the racism that is current today which, is only due to one thing and one thing only. SKIN COLOR! You are the lying, uneducated piece of shit here. Not Jamar or any Black that chooses to engage you disgusting polar bears on the topic of race and Hip Hop.

Jamar didn't say whites aren't welcome. Jamar was pointing out the disrespect you polar bears continue to bring into Hip Hop as if it isn't a Black art form. You disgusting polar bears even have the nerve to tell Blacks we didn't create Hip Hop and it isn't a Black art form. This is the level of disrespect you polar bears have no issue stooping to and it's only because of two things, racial superiority which says you can dictate coloreds and their culture as, well as being a people of little shame when it comes to race relations.

When did this happen?

right lol. i wasnt going to say anything, but can you post anything supporting your claim that a white person said that black people did not create hip hop. so many ignorant elements to his post, and yet it gets love all around.

He never said whites aren't as welcomed. He said hip hop is black culture. Which is correct. So if that makes him racist, then you have issues.

i believe he said that white people are guests in the house of hip hop, and black people are not. i interpret that as white people being less welcome, like i said.

Nah. You misunderstood his quote. What he said us what he meant. No need to twist his words.

fair enough but theres hardly room to deny that the quote is akin to saying they don't belong as much.

Yeah. Tell that to all of those Exclusive White Menz Only clubs

those are an abomination i stand firmly against as well. seems like i'm the only one being consistent here. all i'm asking is why is suggesting some type of racial exclusion ok in this case, but not in the case of being denied a job based on color, and things of that nature. it's like he said white people can be in the club, but never be members of high rank like any black person can. the members of this community seem to favor this concept of racial exclusiveness. im just asking why the double standard and seem to be getting called racial slurs.

and a troll. i guess dropping logic that you don't happen to like makes me an attention seeker.

s/n. would mlk be in favor of this concept of only one race having the ability to reach the highest level of participation in this culture? my understanding is that he was in favor of 100% equality all around.

no there are definitely racist people out there. but im not the one making generalizations here based on one thing (SKIN COLOR) that would be you right now. i wouldnt say the majority, if that was the case obama could never get elected. so i take it you are against racism, but seem to have no problem being racist against white people. i personally have no issue with black people, but i have a problem with hypocrites such as yourself, and all the gentlemen who gave you thumbs ups for it, and buried my post because they refuse to acknowledge that they hold themselves to a lower standard of conduct. please explain to me what i lied about and what evidence you have of my lack of education. and we're both gentlemen here, please act like a sophisticated adult and leave the racism out of this, your not doing your cause any favors.

Yeah, Brand Nubian came out in my senior year in high school. Their first album One For All got 5 Mics in The Source when it came out in 90/91. It was Grand Puba, Lord jamar, Sadat X and DJ Alamo. Grand Puba left after the first album. They released an album in 92 called In God We Trust and another album in 94 called Everything Is Everything. Then Grand Puba rejoined the group and they released an album called Foundation in 1998, which is one of the better albums that came out that year.

Here are some classic Brand Nubian songs;

Wake Up

Slow Down

All For One

Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down

Allah U Akbar

Love Me Or Leave Me Alone

Word Is Bond

Hold On

Sincerely

Probably Cause

The Return

Honestly, their 1998 album, Everything Is Everything deserved 5 Mics IMO
