if you think it's fair in the context of history thats fine, thats how i would feel too. but for someone like me who actually looks forward to a post racial society, feelings like this are counterproductive to that cause. meaning i yearn for a time when race is hardly noticed, and i think that racial discrimination in any form, even a really small one like this, is a step in the wrong direction. like i said i'm equally critical, actually more so, when it's done by my fellow white people. great post though.

obviously its not feasible at the current time. but like i've been saying, there won't be fairness unless both sides are held to the same standard. i hear complaining about racial profiling from liberals all the time, but as soon as i suggest that black people go with the golden rule on that, they get infuriated and call me a polar bear and a cracker. can anyone explain, using logic and no racism, why this double standard exists?
