so what about Jon Arryn where does his death come in here

Outside of him being the Kings Hand before Ned, he helped raised Ned and Robert they viewing him like a father figure. He fought with Ned and Robert in "Roberts Rebellion" against the Mad King when the King wanted Jon to turn them over to him so they can be executed along with Neds brother and father. He died of poisoning.. which you know.

He is also married to Ned's sister in law and controlled the East more specifically Eyrie.

Can anyone explain how the Wall came up?

The same person who built Winterfell in the North also built the Wall, a descendant of the Starks over a thousand years ago named Brandon "the Builder" Starks (which is where he gets the nickname, also Neds deceased brother and son is named after him "Bran")

It was built up to keep the White Walkers, Others, Wildlings out of the Seven Kingdoms. It is said it was smaller originally but built up over time to its current height by the Nights Watch. Their are 19 castles/fortresses built along it but only 3 are in use, as the Night's Watch doesn't have nearly the amount of soldiers as it once did.

When you hear "Winter is Coming" more than the cold could be coming over those borders..

Must say this was the best episode so far as me understanding who is who, though who is the imp is it the dwarf, cause i like him and also THE BASTARD, Sean Beans kid was learning from that guy at the end she is turning into a bad ass , quick with the sword....

This show is moving nicely and i watched it back to back with camelot and this crap all over that show from a great height. ( even though that episode was not too bad either ).

I'm thinking the Lancesters used the squire to get at the previous hand of the king. He was rewarded by being elevated to Knight. Once they knew Ned was snooping around they set the 'Mountain' on him to kill him inadverently during the games.

them Lancasters some convining SOBs.

damn I feel sorry for the dwarf. Homie just going bout his business. Trying to help Bran as best he can, gets kicked out Winterfell and captured at the Inn. Lady Stark played her hand too early but I cant blame if she ran across the person she thinks tried to kill her son.

knowing the dwarf he proably lost that dagger or got rid of it. He seemed to be genuinely shocked by the cold-shouler and he does seem to wanna help Snow & Bran. If he was involved it was indirect at best.

I'm thinking the backstory of the hound & mountain was simply a plot device to introduce the brothers and their stories. They are both of the baddest motherfuckers we'll see. What better way to set the stage than show one of killing someone in friendly competition. They've shown the hound a few times but I dont rember the emphasis on the scares before the last episode.

oh...and don't sleep on the fact that Ned found "the black haired boy" the queen was talkin about. I knew that first child the queen had for Robert was not a lie she told just to sound sympathetic. I think Jamie made her give up the baby so that him and her could produce heirs to take over the Iron throne and the line would be nothing but Lannisters. Thats also the reason why I think Jon Arryn asked for the book that had all of the records of births in Westeros. Remember Arryn's last words were "the seed is strong"......shits getting real deep yo...

interesting. I assumed he was the King's bastard son, but he did mention his mom had blonde hair. I'm have to rewatch that scene.

The Imp is such a fantastic actor I'm actually anticipating everytime he comes on screen. Dude better not be killed this season.

yeah as soon as he said that Arryn had asked him what his mother looked like and that he said all he remembered is that she had blonde hair i knew it was the boy she was talking about. If Robert finds out he's gone flip the fuck out just cuz he got these spoiled ass Lannisters around him and his real son is right there in Kings landing the whole time.

not his real son but the rightful heir to the throne as the oldest male. Thats some grimey shit if the queen wanted the heir to be a 'pure' Lannister so she got 'rid' of him. Good catch.

i just picked up the 1st book so hopefully i can get through it before the season ends.

Yo I think the Imp does know about the assassin sent to kill Bran. Wasn't there a part when he asks whats his face what he remembers from the day he fell. Why would he ask that?

And shit is crazy deep and I'm having trouble keeping up. All these muthafuckas and lords and kings and shit and its all fantasy so its hard for me to piece it all together sometimes.

the Imp has an idea that something is up. He is smart as hell and knew something was up a few episodes back when he was having breakfast with sis & bro. At the end of the convo, after saying it would be interesting to see what the boy says when he wakes up, Jaime says who side are you on? The IMP says scaristiclly my good brother of course my family.

I dont think he was involved but he knows his fam had something to do with it.
