Gotta agree with this...Camelot seems almost Syfy worthy in comparison. The dude playing Arthur is a BRUTAL! No presence whatsoever, and he gets outshined every time he is on screen with Joe Fiennes.

Meanwhile Thrones has Peter Dinkledge already sewing up the Emmy in 4 episodes.

Yeah until Spartacus comes back on TV this show is my SHIT. I bought the first book of the series(the one this season is based on) and am about halfway through it it's actually a pretty good book.

Jaime Lannister vs. Ned Stark = Aint been hyped for a showdown like that since Yoda and the Emperor.

True, I'm glad Ned didn't disappoint. He definitely held his own. He must have been a beast in his prime.

I'm reading the book as well and hope to be done with by next week's episode.

They really did a good job with fight. Jaime was alil smoother while Ned was just agressive as fuck. Whats really interesting is that scene wasnt even in the book (or the queen's chat with the king). With that said so far they've a great job adapting this.

You can tell Cat knew she fucked up too when she saw how crazy her sister was. Because remember, that letter from her sister was part of the reason she got riled up enough to snatch up the Imp.

shit only gonna get crazier with the sister.

but honestly i think I dislike Cat more than anyother character on the show not named Joeffry. Jaime in his weird is charming and sort of an anti-hero. He has a sense of honor (twisted as it is) and is the only one that loves his brother. Cersei is just the uber bitch but she is smart and thinks 2 moves ahead.

but Cat is just dumb/irrational. I cant stand the way she Jon. She jumped the gun Tyrion setting off events that got Ned got.

smh i thought need was gonna ether jamie, i was disappointed

Reading the book the Kingsguard aint no joke. They are the best warriors in the kingdom. That’s why Ned showed some much reverence for the older knight. Them cats don’t play and Jaime is proably the alpha dog of the bunch.

Minor spoilers

After the Robert’s Rebellion Ned and 6 of Robert’s best men approached 3 Kingsguard who were loyal to the Mad King. That’s 3 vs 7. Only Ned and one other dude surived.

You gotta look at it in the context of that time thought. Everybody fucked their sister. That was normal.

Oh and her sister who's running the Eerie is crazy as hell. She breasfeeding a damn teenager!! I wonder if she was like that always or if she just lost her mind after her husband Jon Arryn was killed.

I feel like she was always like that, cause arryn had left the kingdom for a long time. But I thought that was a straight rip from Lord of the Rings. I didn't like that.

lol how...she did what any other rationale mother would do when put in that situation. The character I dislike the most is the eldest daughter of the starks. The one who has been given up for marriage. You can tell by the way they are building her character (she's infatuated with wealth/celebrity) that she's going to eventually betray her family. She's in such a rush to be queen/get a taste of the good life.
