Haven't had an opportunity to peep yet. Riddle me this. Did they touch on Iovine's singing days? I'll always remember how I got introduced 2 em. He was the one who made the song : "Jesus was a Nigger." Or some real crzay shit like off the wall disrespectful. He's a POW ( Piece of Work) but comes off very cantankerous personally.

Puffy said on Drink Champs Suge was talkin about Jermaine Dupri at the Source Awards not him.

But in this doc (ep3) he looks extra salty when they play the footage and he admits Suge was talkin about him and he was pissed.

Slim when I seen that shit, wit the look in his eyes and that recent Goons of the Industry joint, I was like yeah he put a hit out on Pac and Suge.

The jimmy iovine shit was interesting. All the shit that happens in the background is intriguing to me. Knowing the context surrounding songs n music, all the shit that goes into every record or how they came about by chance, etc.

@C.Rossi Whoa, whoa fam! That would have been telling the truth, origin of the Chronic! Can't have the truth being exposed like that. Hutch was / is that dude.

I can't recommend this shit enough. Watched all 4 pts on hbo go yesterday. One of the best docs I've ever seen.

The editing, the sound mixing, the score ...all fuckin works of art. I even found the Iovine parts interesting. Dude was actually a legit producer with actual hits to his credit. But Dre's segments were the heartbeat of the film.

One of the highlights was definitely watching Dre flip that Marvin Gaye song and how the movie introduces Pac. On some epic intro shit.

At 4hrs long, the movie's very thorough. Even DOC gets his own segment. His contributions to Dr. Dre's post-Ruthless career shouldn't be understated. It makes me wonder how drastically different Dre's future would've been musically if DOC never lost his voice and was able to follow his own ambitions instead of having to just write for Dre. It even shows that he taught Snoop how to write.

I rate 4 out of 4

Does episode 3 end abruptly?

What do u mean? It's an hour long, right before Pac dies I believe.

The streams I've seen ends a little after an hour. I'm have to find a better stream online.

If it stops after an hour then yeah it cuts off on ya. the 3rd part is like an hour and a half long.

Watched all of it yesterday. I really liked Part 2 and 3.

Was really dope that Dre wasnt the entire focus. I learned a shitload about Jimmy Iovine. didnt know he was involved with all of those artists.
