Are you serious??? They say that shit? That's like salt in the wound. Who would ask for a reference from a company that terminated them?

Came close when I did my small stint as a grocery store cashier.

Said I didn't smile enough (no shit).

My preggo hormones got the best of me and my eyes started to well up, not because I wanted to work there mind you but because I was like damn life has come to being fired from Foodtown, so they gave me another chance.

Less than a month later I left and never went back.

That's usually only if you're getting laid off.....not fired.

yup..they called me up stairs to the conference room so i already knew what was going on..head of hr and my manager where in there and they said that corporate line, said i would get a full pay check for the period, health benefits were good for a month..i was like ok, got my stuff and bounced..then got my first unemployment check 2 weeks later

I was suspended for 15 days then got a letter in the mail saying "after final review, we have decided to terminate your employment with our agency. Do not show up to pick up your last paycheck. We will mail it to the most current address on file."

Two days later I got my check.

They fired me for aggressive behavior and creating an unsafe work environment.

I guess they expected me to accept a punk ass supervisor talking down to me like I'm some child.

That "do you have any questions" shit set me off on that nigga but I caught myself short of making threats. I didn't really care cause I knew it was coming and I was working somewhere else the same night but it sucked having to tell 12 dudes they ain't got no job.

I was let go from Target for not clocking out to lunch on time.

I worked a goat schedule, 4am-12pm. Planogram.

It was the second time it happened and I was called up. The Bossman said he would've let me slide if it wasn't for this bish from corporation being there.

I had only worked there 3 weeks smh and they were already saying that I could end up taking my managers spot, eventually. I knocked out shelves and aisles like nothing.
