D. Rose playing would not make a difference in the Bulls beating the Heat or any other team if they somehow pull off the upset.....he's already said he doesnt know, the coaches have said they dont know, the players pretty much said they dont care either way....the media is the ONLY reason this is even a big deal

It's clearly a mental issue that only he can take of and instead of thinking about this season he is thinking about his entire CAREER which is far from over...the doctors have done thier part, the coaches/management have done thier part(although Thibs or Pax could've done the obvious and just shut him down for the year a long time ago) and it's all on him and unlike Shumpert or Legler or anybody else they wanna throw out there that had a similar injury he is THE FRANCHISE(which is where the Hill injury comes into context and makes sense)....let the boy breath and continue rehabbing and stop worrying about it cuz the team for the most has clearly moved on

2 different injuries 2 diffrent time tables Rose was cleared 2 months Legler had 2 acl tears and said it seemed like Rose is trying to come back 100% and Legler said that's not going to happen and that Rose just has to go out and get use to a new normal and adjust his body to what happened.

He said roses issues are most likely all mental especially if he's warming up before games in front of your face. Imon Shumpert came back and had his injury around the same time. This just shows Derrick Rose is mentally weak the guy literally cries at the sight of needles. Derrick Rose actually is weak minded.

He needs to just say he's out and stop drawing attention away from the players who've actually put in the work all season and so far in the playoffs.

Every fucking Bulls game always has his injury status discussed, "will he play or won't he?" Same shit will happen on Wednesday, answer will be "he ain't ready". Same shit will happen on Friday, answer will be "not yet". Same shit will happen on Monday, answer will be "soon". SMH

I said this 2 days ago in the NBA thread.

At the end of the day, it should have been deaded from time ago with a simple comment like this:

"I ain't ready mentally this season to compete given the extent of the injury, but come next season I'll be good to go"

And if he came back earlier than expected, it would have been looked at as a gift or blessing.... shit it may even be seen as him showing tenacity to get back in there and be down for the team.

Not all answers are good ones. I don't care all that much though, doesn't bother me if Rose jacks up his PR, not my problem.

You're right, he isn't obligated to say or do shit, but just because you're not obligated to do something doesn't mean you're immune to any kind of questioning or scrutiny. He is the one who started this craze, well, to be more specific, Rose, Adidas's marketing team, and the bulls organization are the one who started this craze.

1.First Adidas did all that "The Return" promo.

2. Then, like Chuck mentioned, the bulls, and coach Thib continually say Rose looks good in practice, and the doctors have mentioned he is cleared to play, and even advised him to do so. Yes, returning back to normal physical activity is part of rehab, it would probably solve the "muscle memory" problem he has been having, but I don't know anything about his body(nh), so I wont comment on that anymore.

3. He is now stringing people along saying, "who knows, I could come back at anytime", even though we are in the playoffs, and the bulls are getting closer to elimination. The bulls got about 4 games left, it's about time for him to just flat out say he is not coming back.

true the media eating up the story. but media aside how distracting do you think it is for players working they ass off in practice and derrick rose is there going full speed in drills and scrimmages then when they facing the top seeded heat hes in suit and tie. Im not saying he shouldn't practice all im saying is go to shoot around and take it light if you don't want to "risk" anything. Don't give your all in practice then pussy out for the game.

But at the same time the nigga who if he quit basketball today would be set financially for life wont risk his injury he cleared on thats some bullshit.

These bench players playing 48 mins could be cut or never get another pro shot in 2 or 3 years. Derrick Rose makes as much money in endorsements as 2 bench players combined in certain cases. But these niggas giving 100% on the court not having "confidence issues". This nigga is cheating his teammates he is cheating the Bulls Front office and cheating his fans by giving his all in practice but not being final on his choice for this season. He need to officially announce he wont come back or announce he will return for the rest of the playoffs.
