Get Rich Or Die Trying wasn't for me

I'm glad u admit it. This poll is stupid because something's just shouldnt be compared. God son didn't have the impact, the units, or the hits to go up against Get Rich. And I'm a big nas fan.

This is revisionist history in its finest form ain't no way anywhere but the IC has God's Son be talked about as a classic album.... Niggaz in here will really try and have you believing Nas got like 5-6 classic albums

You gotta put Get Rich or die trying against a way better Nas album like "It was written" or "Stillmatic" .....fuckin shit I think went Diamond I think for crying out loud, come on now, God Son ain't beating what that album did and I'm a fan of Nas.

GRODT was dope. Really dope. But it didn't draw on your emotions like GS. The story telling and lyricist is on another level against 50 debut. Production was tight on both. God Son was more introspective and well rounded. It had bangers, conscience, songs, personal songs, songs for the ladies.

Is God's son turning into the next it was written....where it didn't have an impact yet years later ppl are pretending it's a classic album?

When the last time and what album had impact in the the world or even hip hop community ?

Always loved Gods Son

Skipped school, smoked a blunt and walked to the mall to cop from Sam Goody the day it dropped.

Hopped on the bus and just rode around town listening to it on my Walkman on repeat

GRODT

How did that album change hip-hop? Was it the album or 50Cent with his story about getting shot and his mixtape that change hip-hop?

Just Wangsta alone was a damn huge street song that crossed over. I personally like Made you Look and Get down better than anything on GRODT, but top to bottom GRODT got more heat than God Son. Got street shit, radio shit like 21 questions and P.I.M.P, club banger like in the Club. What club joint Nas got on God son? I love Nas album too but it's this one in particular just ain't beating Fifs, go get Still mat or illmat
