while yellow wanted to focus on the nuclear family

herb could have focused on a woman not even wanting a family because of perceived new strength, or just give me the baby i can pay my own rent.

herb allowed yellow to make him defend an area he didnt have to.

adding details actually limits the debate. it can give either person an added advantage or disadvantage.

kinda like the religion one.... it wasnt about schools, hospitals, catholic or muslim.....its religion as a whole....defend your position the best way you know how and then call out what your opponent is defending.

Yea but with that you could end up with people arguing 2 different things if the topic is too broad (like religion). And then the vote becomes biased cuz it boils down to what people like instead of who made their point the best.
