im not trying to single just ross. 50 cent is another nicca. if i was rozay i would at least talk to the man face to face. give him that. nobody on here wants another person to capitalize off of them that they never met nor knew. rozay is lucky ross is a different dude cuhz i promise the outcome would have been different in the streets.

oh ok. so after being a CO for a year and half he quit his job and got into the drug game where he met Noriega. That makes sense.

and the vast majority of street niggas have been in and out the the justice system by 19 and can't pass a background check to become a CO. niggas don't turn 20 and all of the sudden choose a career as a criminal

smh so let me guess u believed jay-z when he said he LOST 92 BRICKZ?? smh yeah ross was da 1st rapper 2 lie lol..

Not knocking the CO thing... that's actually commendable for dude to make an honest living. My thing is, if he did throw all that away to sell drugs... IF he really did sell drugs, that's lame cuz it's not like he was starving, COs get paid. He was just adding to the destruction of the black community instead of making an honest living. If he didn't sell drugs, then he's even worse cuz he's using his image to promote said destruction of our community all the while reaping the benefits of it. Then, lying about being a CO in the first place makes it look that you can have a decent job and still be a rapper. Nigga I'm a security guard, and before that a janitor, and I'm not ashamed to say it. But some kid is gonna look at that, grow up, get handed a job application and say "fuck that, I wanna be like Rick Ross".

lol no matter how u try 2 slice it u sound KRAZY cuz ross is worth about 25mill & is on forbes list & therr is nuttin LAME about that..

And nobody believed that shit about Jay just like nobody believes Ross's story. I'm not defending any other rappers. My 1st post says Ross isn't the 1st nor the last Gusto.

I mean, that's what's up... at least he got what he wanted out of it, props to the man for shakin these crackas for all they're worth. But as a Black man, as a man period, and as a human being, Ross is better than this. With all his influence, all the dope music he puts out, and the team he has behind him, don't you think he's just more than a money machine and a Warner Bros check? I mean, what do you think them crackas in them offices think when he steps in the room? "Well, here's a guy that threw his whole life away to become a drug dealer rapper, took a negative image and made it his own, lied about his past, and doesn't even have the common decency to tell kids the dangers of being in the streets... that guy has the lack of integrity and self respect that we're looking for. Let's get him to sell these sneakers and liquor". I dunno about Ross, but that type of shit would keep me up at night... and I'd rather have a good night's sleep than a guilty conscience and $25 million.

Biggie talked to Christopher Walken and got the approval to use "Frank White"

NaS chilled with Pablo Escobar Son

Ghostface was featured in the "Iron Man" Movie.

When you take people's name you pay homage. Ross just jacked his name and image and made millions off it without paying homage. The man deserves his money and changing your name to "Rozay" ain't doing shit. You built your whole brand off someone else legacy.

We should just start calling Ross Gusto. This shit is pure comedy joe. Nigga Ross changed his number on the man. The funny thing is that there really isn't anything gusto can say to refute this expect "it's just an old dude looking for money"

Nigga said yeah you had to pass a background check to be a CO but yet he talking bout he been in the streets hustling.

But on some real shit though Gusto is being pimped out by some white jews who run the label to pretend/promote himself as a drug dealer. Shit is sad but he isn't the 1st gusto nor the last, but he might be the most blatant.

ross was a teen co @ 19 fa a yr & a half how is that his LIFETIME CAREER??

If you take the Noriega line literally you probably one of them dudes that believe Nas went to hell for snuffing Jesus.

The vast majority of street niggers that have the intelligence to Hustle properly never see the Justice system by 19 and if their hustle is on 1-Hunnid they will be a Multi-Millionaire before the age of 40.

Squares and Game-goofy individuals be oh-so clueless when it comes to Hustling but that's what separates the millionairers from the guys slaving a 9-5 wishing they had the hustle to get rich.

That's the thing... they do that with everyone in that mold. You'd think someone would break the cycle, but nope, stupid niggas just keep adding to it. Ross may have his money, but he's not making it easier for our culture. He's adding to the long list of rappers taking blame for the bad influence on these kids (even though I think that's bullshit, influence starts at home).

And for the record, I got no problem with rappers that talk about hustlin, if they show both sides of the coin. Ross has yet to show the other side of it... he makes it look fun, which it isn't. Like @infamous114 said, I'm talking about a dude who lived a comfortable life, had everything going for him, and decided to use his voice to make that look like a bad thing. I have the same problem with BIG, but at least he showed both sides of it.

Again, I'm not mad at him making money. I love to see black people make money, and help other black people make money. But is that the end all be all? What are we willing to sacrifice for it? Our own dignity and self respect? Let's say Ross kept the CO thing going, kept that football scholarship, went to school and became, let's say a lawyer or something. He still would've been able to help people and himself if he applied his hustle right. But he chose to be a drug dealer, something far out of his league. And again, this isn't about money. This is about having the power to say "you know what, I see what's going on in my community... and I can take part of it, but fuck that... I'm over here with it". Having an imagination is one thing, telling your story is another thing. But to put it out there as absolute truth, and to tell your fans that having millions of dollars in blood money beats having a decent job and a meager comfortable living is hustling backwards.

sometimes you take this Ross shit too seriously and can't pick up on hyperbole. of course i didn't take that literally.

Both 50 and Freeway got their names from street hustlers. Other such as Biggie (Biggie Tarantino), Nas (Nas Escobar), Raekwon (Wu-Gambinos), Styles P (the "P" stands for Pinero, which is a fusion of Pacino and Dinero) etc. incorporated names from crime characters, movie directors that made a lot of crime related movies, drug dealers and mobsters in their lyrics.

All rappers exaggerate, but if the songs are good, then nobody usually cares, and nobody should. Nas never went to Hell for snuffing Jesus, Biggie never killed himself during a convo with Puff and Ice Cube didn't get hit with a life sentence after drug dealing in St. Louis, lol.

But it would be nice if Ross showed both sides of the coin with his drug dealing lyrics, like T.I. or Biggie.

Well Boo-Hoo and cry me a river, you know what rappers lived comfortable lives in single-parent homes in Carol City, Miami?

Somebody need to hire a Detective and find out how comfortable Carol City is compared to the suburb they live in

That Titangraph is blah status.

I'd rather have 20+ employees and the ability to have my own charity organization giving back to the community than be a C.O., who you gonna give a job too when you living hand to mouth?

All that sucka shit people foam at the mouth about is worthless because the only thing people respect is actions and if you ain't providing jobs for our people and occupations for the people in our community then you just another waste of space with a worthless opinion.

That talking and typing doesn't put food on the table.
