hopefully he's written off the major story line of the show and we only see him every now n then becoming more and more street smart throughout the show...

i mean if he becomes batman around 21-25 he has a good 7 years of living on the street, and even joining a monastery before ever becoming batman......this show can go 8 seasons, and we still never have to see batman unless they skip ahead a few years.....

but keeping it just a origin story for the city, and making it about gotham..i'd rather them either write bruce off completely....or just show him in the streets once every few episodes... but the focus needs to come off of him.....we all know his story...no need of doing much more with it

Yeah I think folks forget that the orginal idea of the show was about Gordon. So it's good they're stirring away from Bruce for a lil bit.

If they wanted to make it about Gordon, they'd have introduced him first. They didn't, they introduced Bruce first.

Also, the issue is Two Face, Hugo Strange, Mr Freeze, Zsasz are going to be old as fuck compared to Bruce when he finally puts on a cowl. You're going to have Year One Batman beating the shit out of guys in their late 40s and early 50s with prolonged established histories of mental illness. It seems less like crime evolved to combat the Batman and more like Gotham was already superfucked before Bruce did a fucking thing.

I stopped watching after mid season 2. This just doesn't work for me at all. I was pumped for this when it was announced.
