I mean you gotta remember the joker origin has always been clouded in mystery.

They could easily bring the same actor back in complete joker make up, using the name and his gadgets, and have everybody in the show think it's "Jerome" but feel it's impossible because he's dead...

Even to the point Jim dude l digs up his grave only to get hit with a bomb filled with joker gas and a whole bunch of gag toys...

Dude could joke about being Jerome one second, and completely deny it the next, Barbra can get a bad vibe from him and insist he's absolutely not Jerome, but something different all together, some thing more sinister..

Bruh, they made it clear they're following no guideline, they can do a lot with this character

True but that's the dope thing about comics, they always have 're-imagining of the story. They will never stop revamping this character.

Show killing itself with this fast forward run. Dude was dope, but he wasn't THAT dope as to inspire legions of Jokers. That battle rap cat Dot doesn't reach as much as this episode did.

It wasn't so much inspiration as it was a the gypsy curse. But I don't know why that guy did that curse though since it's not like Jerome would have suffered from it at all.

It is lame that they're playing this "who will be the joker" game though.

I watched last night's episode. That's two total from one I watched last season.

It was decent. Might start checking this out weekly.

Question though, I was able to pick up on shit that was going on, so is season 1 worth the watch or no?

Just finished last night episode and I'm pissed. Y'all niggas called it though, shit is still wack. Am I the only one who felt insulted when the whole city started laughing and shit. That was a slap in the face. Jerome was perfect, smh. Y'all better be going somewhere with this Gotham. Word to every judge on Law&Order.

Alfred was on one, he was going completely in on Lee.

That nigga Theo was hamming it up, but they all fell for that shit. Dude was looking in the camera and being all cartoony. I thought Jerome was gonna shoot him at one point.

Am I the only one who said "you share that girl!" when Barbara was kissing Theo at the end and oh girl got mad?

I was wrong...

The episode was called the last laugh...Jerome may have got murked but inspired a whole society of evil....eventually the real Joker will emerge and Jeromes legacy will live on.

We may not even see the Joker this season.

I'm stuck on Theo, so I'm guessing he's linked to The Court of Owls, which is like Gotham illuminati that actually built Gotham right? Barbara's parents had links to TCOO as well as the Wayne's I'm guessing. Interested to see how that pans out.

I like this angle

Paul Reubens aka Pee Wee to play Penguin's dad in an upcoming episode of Gotham. Also it should be noted that he played Penguin's father in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Incidentally Simone from Pee Wee's Big Adventure played his mother.
