but if the real joker ever does surface it's going to be in the series finale

Are you sure they are doing a good job leading us to believe he is the joker.

I have the same feeling and Jerome isn't signed on as a regular cast member nor was he confirmed to be him like the other characters were in the show. He could get clapped at the end of the season.

Good episode and Jerome is easily the best character...completely stole Penguin shine...which is natural if he is the Joker.

I mean it's obvious the show wants to go it's own direction with everything else.., I can't hate on this all....

Yeah, I didn't like the whole "let's have multiple possible Joker's" angle they took. To me that's a cop-out. Just show one upper teen/young adult with his back to the camera in his room with pictures of Jerome on his wall, watching the news about his death and cackling...

They had to kill Jerome though, because he was overshadowing the cat they want to be the main antagonistic focus. They wrote Jerome's role too good and dude acted that role damn near flawlessly...
