Falcone ends up winning the gang beef by killing all the Maroni head guys in one Italian joint. It's where you solved one of the Riddler's Clues in the Arkham City game - restaurant with the Italian flag colors

In other storylines he was either killed by 2Face or the "Holiday" killer in The Long Halloween

Sal Maroni is also the guy who literally makes 2Face....he the one who throws acid on Harvey Dent in that trial
