the movie was such a big hit, that that tune and video was literally everywhere and was number 1 in nearly every major country around the world, its one of the biggest tunes of the 90's... that song is still on the radio EVERYDAY at work and im in the uk!!! just goggled it, check the chart positions, surprised it wasnt number 1 in the us mainstream, seems it done better around the world, then in america:
