Unfortunately, the following years weren't as congenial to the two-time champion as he was taken down by CafeId|Poongko in 2011 and eliminated by eLive|Xiao Hai's Cammy in 2012.

This year, Daigo is determined to reclaim his title in the Street Fighter 4 series by winning EVO 2013. Below is a message from the Beast himself in which he lets all of this year's competitors know that he is ready for battle.
