ya'll would spend 1800 on a tv but wanna spend 500 om a ring

we get more out of the tv...

a ring is supposed to be a symbol of love...

does it matter if it costs $500 or $5000k? its supposed to mean that i love you and want to spend my life with you...what does price have to do with that?

or is it more important that you can show it off to your friends and they can marvell and say 'that nigga love you girl, that musta cost $5000!'

You can use a tv. It has practical value.

On the real though, I thought 3 months salary was the thing for engagement rings? Since everyone on the internet claims to be ballin, I thought I would be seeing some 10k+ figures for rings.

I was merely setting a price floor for the amount one would spend on an engagement ring. If you have money to spend, then by all means buy your s.o an expensive ring.

That's 15K on a ring for me...I'm fine with 5K.

thats the big difference with men and women
it really dont matter in the end but when we see that big screen 1800 dollar tv sittin on the wall and know how much time and effort you put into findin this tv and didnt care how much it was that you absolutley had to have and then we look down on our hands and see the cheapest ring you could find at the first store you walked into it kinda burns........

Calling everyone cheap because of what we feel is a reasonable amount for a ring is really not the right approach to take.

^^^these cats lying...they aint all ballin

aint no way im spending 3 mos salary on a ring...hell nawww

you would do better putting that money towards a downpayment on a house...or starting a business...

again: if the woman youre with expects you to spend a grip on a ring.....RUN NIGGA RUN!!!

in these times where people cant pay bills and shit...spending money on something as innane as an engagement ring is crazy

it was just an example pumpa calm down

im just saying we gonna hold you up to how high you set your own bar, if you spending big on everything else and i get bottom of the barrel im gonna feel a little bad

me personally i date a very cheap practical guy who wouldnt spend no more then $300 on a flat screen and complains about prices even when he's getting a deal, so i would never expect something more then $1000 if that and im fine with that

It has. My tv from 10 years ago still works fine. But it just wasn't satisfying me anymore. I dumped it for a younger, thinner HD bitch earlier this year. But the memories of what we had will always be there.
