hey that aint my philosphy, but it makes sense to me, I would say not believing into it would be a damn shame

if you think buying your woman a big ass ring will lessen the chances of her cheating or if you are with a woman who thinks like that, then your woman could be taken from you by anybody who can buy her something you can't at any given moment

I agree with Pico

Ugh some of yall are so damn cheap

easy for chicks all they have to buy is some measley wedding band. Smh at any man spending $10,000 on an engagement ring and then putting up another few thousand for the wedding band for the chick only to give him a $750 wedding band

If a bitch comes at you about a ring size, hit her with that, would you rather we save up a down payment for this house or have a big rock and live in a cardboard box!

were you an officer or something??

Not at all. The degree requirement is bullshit. Not a Naval Academy type either.
Marine Corps looks pretty fucking good on a resume. I just applied for a job that I had while in and got the same job as a civilian making triple what I made while I was enlisted. Just took a while for that job to come up and see it to apply for it.

actually any woman can be taken @ anytime, would be asinine to believe otherwise, keeping a woman like keeping a fulltime office job in a bad economy

No bullshit, I wasn't bragging...like I said I was making a point as to how absurd the 3month rule can be for some people. That's 15k for me, someone who is not ballin'. Never implied I''m the man at all on this site or elsewhere I'm comfortable making what I make. And for the record, I left an IT related job making almost 100k for this job because of the benefits I'm given. Shorter workweek, 5weeks paid vacation a year, 13 sick days, COLA, FMLA, FSA, TSP, etc... Everything isn't always about money.
