Women choose lame ass men (mostly), men choose lame ass women. Both got to do better. Women mostly decides the sex so they're mostly at fault with their shitty choices.

That's always been my biggest point, at the end of the day unless the man is just taking the pussy women have the final say so in who gets to hit and who doesn't, she also chooses whether to keep the baby or not. The man aint got no say so what so ever in this situation which is why women have to eat the biggest portion of that L. Sorry for actually having to be held accountable for your actions, that's equality for ya ass.

because the woman have to carry the child for 9 months, of course she should be afforded the right to do as she pleases with her body ...
that said, a man can still choose not to have unprotected sex, right?
and while its true older women find themselves in similar situations, the majority of single mothers are/were indeed young/teen mothers and from low income backgrounds
I am not trying to suggest that most these women were taken advantage of by savvier older men. or that any one group is more at fault .... I'd even bet most of these young women were impregnated by men in their same age bracket who were themselves also naïve, in over their heads, and/or irresponsible
what I am disputing is that the majority or even half of single mothers were these seasoned adults consciously chasing thugs and dead beats

i feel it does other females a disservice..
own up to ur mistake.. let others see and hopefully they can learn from it.. but parading around as if uv accomplished somethin gives others a false perception to a harsh reality..
kids can be a blessing as well as a curse depended on ur readiness for them..

The bold works just as well as a means of shooting down the proposed right to abort children.

That's not a right anyone has. If something you're doing with your body can harm others, there are restrictions. Like it or not, the decisions a woman makes with regards to pregnancy don't just affect her, so they shouldn't be just her choice. She should have the most say, but to just completely ignore the other parties involved is foul.

but banning all abortions this isn't the same as outlawing drunk driving or outlawing the recreational use of a substance
while i agree taking into consideration the wishes of all parties involved in regards to whether or not a child is carried to term is ideal.... what if the father wants to keep the baby that the mother doesn't want? how are we to recognize his wishes? is it by basically forcing the woman to stay pregnant or she'd face criminal charges???
nope I can't get with that
we are taking about a biological process that happens inside of a woman's body
besides the health consequences , for many a pregnancy could potentially hurt their earning power and cost them their jobs
interjecting the law into the situation any further then it already is I'd argue is an act of discrimination
we would effectively be stripping away one group's right to their reproductive organs...and no, it isn't the same as requiring a man to pay cs

How does it not? A woman can choose not to have unprotected sex too. You talk about a woman exercising her agency. That's where it's done.

You and women like you want to set up a scenario where women are able to pick and choose when they want to be accountable for their choices, but men's accountability is totally dependent on the whims of the women involved. This is just one more example of how feminists are full of shit when you say you want equality. You don't. You want the deck to be stacked in your favor.

I don't think it's about strength or weakness. It's not like the chicks were saying they don't handle their responsibility. They were just saying they regret what they are missing. Maybe you adjusted better to motherhood than they did. That's cool. It doesn't mean you're stronger. And all this talk about what the mother's feel is beside the point anyway. How the child feels is what's important. I get so tired of hearing these chicks talk about how empowered they are because they are raising a child solo as if their empowerment is what matters.

The weakness is in them stating having a child prevented them from something or "missing" something as you stated. Whether it's the chick that thinks she will never get married or its the chick that stated it prevents her from traveling or the chick that stated it prevented her from an education. All of these things can be done with a child. And I disagree with the notion that it doesn't make you stronger...it does. All of the responsibility of you and another human being is solely on you so unless you have been a single mother or have faced the challenges of being a single mother; you truly have no idea.
