I'm a feminist. There's a lot hypocrisy that goes on, but violence is never ok. Men and women should keep their hands to themselves. And if someone swings or puts their hands on you, regardless of gender, you either retreat and/or call the authorities ....

Or you retaliate with equal force if necessary

Its not that no guy should ever hit a girl, its more that no person should ever hit another person.

I'd personally defend myself from an attack regardless of who the person attacking me is. Im not saying how I would defend myself, it depends on the situation. I see myself swinging with all my might just as easy as pushing someone off me. Cant say how i would react unless im put in that situation and tempers flare.

A much stronger person doesn't have to display force for his/her authority to be felt or respected. All I was saying is that the manner in how he did it was overboard. Nothing wrong with checking a person but he could have handled shit different and still got his point across.
