The term "real Hip Hop" is basically just being real to yourself. If Tyler likes to do weirdo things to create attention for himself then to HIM that's "real Hip Hop".
If Lil Wayne likes to dress up in zebra striped leggings then to HIM that's "real Hip Hop." If Jay-Z likes to gather himself around everything European because he considers that a better life for him then to HIM that's "real Hip Hop". If Nas likes to express his Afrocentricity throughout his records and reminds us about it on every song then to HIM that's "real Hip Hop...etc, etc.
The question is: Can muthafuckas have the right to like or dislike it without their fans catching feelings?
