Epic grudge match: Slavery vs. Holocaust--

#1. Dont confuse africans and african americans.

#2. Slavery was different in each time period. Some were merely labor and servants, but still refered to as slaves.

#3. The Jews complain about their plight more than any other race in history last time I checked the BIBLE... I knew about Moses and Jewish slaves before I knew Blacks were slaves in the US.

Be real, you hate to hear blacks complain about anything.

The reason they were considered to be racially inferior was because they weren't of the "Aryan Race" which is up for questioning because the modern day definition for Aryan race and Hitlers definition for Aryan race are a lot different. Hitler believed the aryan race to be from certain geographical areas- which had national religions... that Hitler was okay with.

i'm not going to argue that Hitler's racial beliefs were grounded in fact; he was nuts and had some ridiculous notions. but even being wrong, his beliefs regarding, say, Slavs were based on notions of racial superiority.

fair, but that cannot under any circumstances be called dying on your feet. at least with slavery, over throwing and rebellion was not completely out of the question. were i to have been a slave i would have murdered my master or mistress in the middle of the night anyway... 4 white dudes vs 50 slaves... but starving sick jewish man in which you could count the ribs vs Nazis with guns... both horrible situations. but i would honestly rather be serving someone than sleeping on their hair and watching the callusness of thousands of jews at a time bein thrown into the gas chambers, not knowing exactly what was going to happen but knowing it couldnt possibly be good.

I understand how you feel and the horrible feeling that Jews were faced with, but we are speaking about Genocide in Germany over a few years where slavery was world wide and global. The comparison to me is apples and oranges. I could be Naive, but I choose not to think so.

They fed black babies to Alligators, they cut pregnant black women's bellies open and stomped unborn fetuses on the ground in front of the father. This was done on a daily basis for hundreds of years. That's just a couple things done to black slave infants...

over 100 million black men WOMEN AND CHILDREN lost their lives during slavery, and the rest lost their god given rights and freedoms as a human being. i dont buy everything you say, but that is a fair point. i dont buy the daily basis bs. you have data to support most of what you say, but is that data unbiased? the only good data is unbiased data. maybe we should have a chinese dude do the research because he supports neither side

and thats a fair point, but slavery led to the blacks being looked at as subhuman and inspired plenty of stereotypes revolving around crimes, drugs, and sex. not to mention stupidity. slavery is worse in this instance. you did mean for us to switch sides right? and people do tend to forget that jews were slaves as well. it is a wonder. perhaps they did and were shut down...

Those same facts can be argued for the jews. The Jews were demonized and never recieved fair treatment whereever they settled. Kings would limit their roles in societies saying that Jews are immoral due to their dealings with money, but still sometimes borrowed money from them. Genocide on Jews was being practiced in Russia long before Hitler took power in Germany. It was not only Germany contrary to what most people think. The Stereo types I believe are different, but slavery itself did not cause the stereotypes. You can say the slaves were subhuman, but the Jews during the Holocaust had no more value then an insect. Slave =animal.... Jew= insect
