Depends if you fuck with Em or not a lot of people don't on here. But it's a good album and the bonus tracks are nice.
The regular version of the album is on Amazon for $5 just a heads up.

To the point that it got me rethinking the way rappers could flow on tracks. His multis were also incredibly dense but sharp as fuck. He even found ways to make words that don't rhyme still make incredible sense and have great rhythm.
Dude was in tune with that groove on that album and even the haters know those were some of the best beats Dre has made in years. I don't even see the comparison tbh. I think Recovery and this would be a better comparison. They're far more similar. I think he reached his peak with Relapse in terms of being symbiotic with the tracks. He hasn't had flows and rhyme schemes as good ever since. Same with the beats.
It was the last remnants of the "Old Eminem" and people didn't appreciate it enough for that I guess. That really did sound like a return of Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers. He rode every single beat with extreme precision. No choppy flows like on this new album here. I can't get with this alternative rap Eminem. I've outgrown the guy's output. It doesn't resonate with 30 year old me the same way it did with 15 or even 20 year old me anymore.

Granted, it could be ass kissing but I tend to believe him.

Can't agree with this. Music is life and life is rhythm. Powerful music will resonate with you no matter what age you are if you're truly an authentic music lover. There have been plenty of albums that have been released during my adulthood that I would consider "important" and relevant. Albums that always hold me down and cheer me up whenever I need to sit back and hit an L with a good LP playing in the background. Unfortunately this wasn't one of them.
