I'm gonna take this with a grain of salt, and even if this is real, it's just not going to work. Dude's run out of material, especially considering the tone and themes of his first albums.

SSLP: Dealing with poverty, and desperation for success

MMLP: Dealing with backlash from other people due to his newfound fame, fleshing out his backstory

Em Show: More or less the same themes as noted above really, with more political undertones.

Even though Encore was subpar, and felt like a bunch of random tracks thrown together with a lot of nonsense mixed in, it still had that edge to it. With Relapse and Recovery, it's like he's trying to rediscover what gave his music content, but the motivation isn't all there, because the struggle he had before is non-existent. That said, i'll look forward to it, but I won't expect much.

i think the only sequel album that lived up to the original's name was

Only Built For Cuban Linx II

Cuban Linx II was about 4 MICS. Cuban Linx was 5 MICS. Close but not close enough but was a solid release. Though they didn't take on "Part II" and the name of their originals. "Life After Death" and "STILLmatic" delivered as sequels. "Blueprint 2" not so much. "Vol 2: Hard Knock Life" was a Blockbuster sequel. "Carter II" was better than the original. "Tical 2000" had it's moments but was hit or miss. "War Report 2" was forgettable. For the most part the sequels haven't lived up to their predecessors but some have.

Stillmatic wasn't a sequel.

I learned my lesson from Recovery and it be the last time a female suggests music to me.

"Omg you have to listen to Spacebound."

I'm thinking by the name Em is on some other world shit and it's straight spitting.

Nigga was I wrong! I never turned a song off so fast.

Only song that holds the record for fastest disappointment is On Sight.

I wonder how many songs are gonna be "heartfelt" and how many hooks are "catchy" yet "emotional"?

U don't even listen to Em so why do u care?
