Lord bless me so that I can make the vision clear for the people of God. Amen.
Let me clear something up first brother. Nothing that I am saying is a substitute for what Jesus Christ did on Calvary! The words that God has given me to preach from His word are directed toward people who are saved. That is why God labels the people who are to flee Babylon as "his people". So I am in total agreement with Romans 3:20.alissowack;3537941 said:...and the Good Book also says this:
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:20 KJV)
My issue is not with obeying the law. It's good that you and I do, but the work that you do can't and won't substitute for what Jesus has already done. Your hands are not meant to save the world from sin.

My emphasis in my previous post was on the first part of the verse my friend, "Where there is no vision, the people perish"
Here is a quote from Bible.org about what "vision" is:
"Few things are more important to effective leadership than vision. Good leaders foresee something out there, vague as it might appear from the distance, that others don’t see. Godly leaders who are followers of Christ must first have a vision of who God is and the future he holds for them. They must also have a sense of what God has called them to do."
I love you my friend. I love everybody! God has given me vision to see beyond what meets the eye. And I lift up my voice in praise to Him! Yes, I glorify Him for that! Now if you don't see whats coming, God has given me the task of making that more clear for you to see my friend. I'm not here to try to win arguments. I am here to lead souls in the right direction and that direction is always to Jesus Christ. This isn't about one-up manship. This is about clear teaching from the word of God. This is serious buisness my friend and I do this because I love God and I love you too! Woe is me if I don't do what I am doing my brother.
Now This is what is coming my friend:
"25Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. 26Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients." Ezekiel 12:24-25
When the trap comes, it will be over. The vision will fail because it will be too late. I don't want you to be caught in the snare my brother, nor do I want anybody else who reads what "thus saith the Lord" to be caught in the snare either. God decreed that there will be a famine of hearing the word of the Lord in the last days.
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" Amos 8:11
Yes, the vision and the words of the Lord will be gone my friend. But let's praise God that He still has His word available for people to digest and eat up!
So now that I have said that, let me ask you a question. Have you prayed and asked God to reveal to you the truth regarding what He wants you to do in these last days? If so and you have an answer would you mind sharing that with me?

The Holy Spirit is the one who gives the gifts of the spirit, "dividing to every man severally as he will." (1 Corinthians 12:11)
Exalting Jesus Christ is always at the forefront of any message. So your argument falls flat on it's face if your trying to say that I don't do that.alissowack;3539480 said:So telling people about the destruction of America is more important than the work of Christ? The world needs to know that something has been done about sin; that someone has spoken on our behalf to our dead hearts. So far, you getting people to run clueless about their hearts being at a standstill.

It makes this world a tapestry and brings entertainment to the Fiat's of the world alike. I am just a fan of interpretative meaning meanwhile I can do away with all the other stuff that is dogmatic and culture subjective (only)

3 messages are given in the last days my brother. How often do you read your bible Alissowack? You appear to be woefully ignorant regarding eschatology. But I will labor patiently with you, so that you can understand these things.
Revelation 14 speaks of the 3 messages given and as you can see Jesus Christ is always at the forefront. The 1st message concerns Him as it always should!
1st message
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
2nd Message
8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
3rd Messgae
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Something is telling me that you haven't been spending enough time in His word my brother. By you diminishing the importance of Babylons fall, you are displaying your ignorance pretty shamefully. The trap is being laid right before our eyes. How you respond to that trap will be an indication of how much fellowship you truly have with God. Just saying.
alissowack;3540937 said:...and something tells me that you only want God just for the blessing; you just want a seat in Heaven; a piece of the pie. You could care less about the blood that was spilt to get you there. God gave His Son. I don't hear that in this thread. All I'm hearing is about is "tomorrow" and you know what the Good Book says about tomorrow. We are all ignorant in our ways so to include me is not an offense...but you ought to be careful in thinking you know what the Bible says. Even Satan knows what it says.

DoUwant2go2Heaven?;3541951 said:Thank God that I have the comforter (Holy Spirit) that knows the word better than the enemy does. And so do you my brother. So stop with the excuses! Yeah the devil knows the word. So what though! I'm tired of all the lame excuses, especially when you start giving the enemy all this credit! Give God the glory! "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4) Amen.
So you better know what the Bible says in these last days alisowack. Or else you will be deceived. Jesus first words for the sign of His coming and the end of the age were, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matthew 24:4)
Start studying my friend. Systematic bible study daily is needed. Be persistent in prayer. Because right now it is apparent to me that you can't digest the meat of the word because of your continual refusal to eat it. I'll be praying for you my friend. Amen.
alissowack;3542241 said:Well, if Satan knows, then even he can quote scripture and use it against you (and me as well). There are people out there that know the Bible frontwards and backwards, a lot more disciplined in study and still they are lost. Your trust in more in yourself than God guiding your understanding.
DoUwant2go2Heaven?;3542402 said:I can't be reading this right. So wait let me get this straight. God says this:
"Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence." Jeremiah 51:6
I say: Ok God I believe what you say, I have to flee Babylon.
You say: No. You have to stay. We have to disobey Gods command.
I say: Let God be true, so let me post New Testament scripture
"Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;" Revelation 18:4
You say: No, that's not right. You can't flee Babylon. God isn't true.
I say: Wow, Do you read the Bible?
You say: "You trust more in yourself than God guiding your understanding."
Results: I'm left scratching my head at your ignorance. Go figure. But I'm praying for you. It's obvious that something is clouding your mind. Or your just being confrontational. Whatever the case may be, Gods word still stands. Amen.
VIBE86;3542471 said:So when you up and leave in the "last days" to Jerusalem, where are you exactly going? Cave hide out? You have money for a house? What are you going to exactly do?
Also, when the "last days" just happen to be bullshit and you're stuck in Jerusalem because you threw everything away, what will you do? (answer, look at it as a 'hypothetical' question)
solid analysis;3542490 said:Not trying to get on you DoU but....C'mon son! i think the problem is that the idea that America is Babylon as mentioned in the Bible is not proven. Of course, every nation that doesn't follow God eventually falls. Same thing happend to Israel. But that doesn't mean America is Babylon. Of course History has a tendency to repeat itself. Which may be observed in certain events taking place in our times now. But that doesn't mean America is Babylon. Babylon was Babylon. period. And all the events in that time have passed already.
Also a key point is, God's people don't exist in one physical nation in these times, i thought you understood that. it's not like back in the times when Israel was God's only chosen people (which mainly had to do with God keeping His promise to Abraham), and his people had a physical distinction. Now, the kingdom is all over the planet - not just in one physical area. And it will continue to be that way.
The instruction God gave to His people to flee were for those people at that time. It's a distortion in sound biblical study and understanding for anyone in these times to take that and apply it to us in these times. :/
