In a era were about only 5 different artist are on the radio, not really hard to do

Excuses

It's more rappers now than back in the day though.

My uncle said the radio always played the same songs back in the 90s too.

There's a Flex hot97 show uploaded on the net from like 1995, listen to it to see how right your uncle is.

And that radio excuse is such bs.

Barely anybody even listen to the radio for music.

Really? Name me artist that's gone gold with no radio play at all

Nigga just gonna ignore my question cause he couldn't answer it huh

Forest Hills Drive.

Saying no radio play at all is dumb. Because all I hear on the radio is Tory Lanez, Young Thug, Migos.

Ain't none of them niggas selling.

Cole is all over the radio, try again

Not Here in the DFW.

I was in New Orleans for bout a month last summer and he wasn't all over the radio.

Me bringing bum niggas like Young Thug and Migos being all over the radio don't mean sales.

A strong fan base (usually ppl that don't listen to the radio for music) is drive sales.

Cole had no major push but did it.

Cole album did numbers before he even released a single to the radio..

You can tell how times are different though. BIG needed two of raps GOAT singles to get it and Drake done it with forgettable crap.

Not sure what that means
