There was a time when even if you were dropping a mixtape with throwaway songs and more party vibes, you still RAPPED. And spit bars. See the Jay-z S. Carter thread, see G Unit, even Wayne. Shyt, especially Wayne.

Here, on half the songs here this ngga is mimicing what the other nggas is doin. Why the fuk is Drake, who;s supposed to 'wear the crown', rapping like Migos, 2 Chainz, Chief Keef, etc

I hope nggas realize we no longer judgin mixtapes/album by rap quality but just how turnt up it us. With the exception of 2 or 3 songs where he actually raps forreal (You & the 6-I pull the knife out my back and cut they throat wit it momma!), he's just fukin around. This easily could have been a 2 Chainz mixtape. And nggas would judge it the same. Thats a PROBLEM. Drake is supposed to be better than this.

What Drake lacks he makes up with his voice, flow and his ability to make good music. Subject matter is lacking but it's not that big a deal for drake. At least not yet. Maybe in a few years.

In the mean time this is my favorite Drake project he put out. NWTS was ok. TML was below average and TC was sliughtly above average.

Yeah it actually does. If these are throwaways then his actual album SHOULD be better. Take Care is the only other album/mixtape from him thats above average. EVERYTHING ELSE...no.
