I downloaded the mixtape on day one at datpiff. His flow is off and very raw, but he's hungry and shows a lot of promise. He could end up being the serious version of Jeezy one day. A lot of potential in this kid.

I wouldn't call Don Trip trap music. I fuck wit this nigga but his beats a little too pop for me on this one.

Trap music is niggas like Yo Gotti, Young Scooter, and Eldorado Red all they talk about is dope.

Yeah, I wouldnt say he is a "trap" rapper. Because skill wise he is far superior to most "trap" rappers. Lyrically, he is one of the best newcomers to come out in a long time. Takes a lot to impress me and he did it. When I first saw him on Step Brothers with Starlito, I immediately assumed he was going to be wack. But he killed it and made me go back and check for his older stuff and it was more of the same, he was killing shit. Don Trip is the truth.
