here's the thing: i love Starlito, Don Trip, and Kevin Gates. they make great music. but it's not just of the realism, they're ALSO great rappers; you can have the most realistic guy out there and if he can't write, can't perform... he's not going to produce shit.

i think our point is simply that there's this rush to bash TPAB and crown other albums above it, and it does Trip a disservice because it makes the conversation into "TPAB sucks" instead of "Godspeed is a really cool album and you all should listen to it."

(and yes, i like Yo Gotti too. not bashing any of these artists).

This my first time listening to dude and idk if it's just me but he sounds like Wayne at times. That being said this album was nice AF. Medicine was on repeat a couple times. Lil homie and tomorrow my next favorite tracks. That interlude was cool too. I'll be checking for him in the future.

Glad you enjoyed it don trip was on the XXL freshman cover one yr but no one really paid attention to him

His underrated in my opinion but his StepBrother Mixtapes with starlito are great they really work together well here's some of there recent work together
