Morality is still subjective though. You were among those who considered the suicide of all whites morally right if I recall correctly. This is considerably subjective.

so zombie..do you hate white people?

and how do you feel about the africans that place white people above other africans or blacks for that matter?

I feel the same way lebron feels about kobe in the last minutes of a 4th quarter championship game.

african/black who place whites above other blacks need reeducation or gunshot

i can agree with you on that

This sh*t happens alot in DR. Certain parts of that island are real primitive and don't even get me started on Haiti. Rafa Trujillo has really messed with their mind. It's a primitive country.

I don't see how anyone can defend this type of sh*t. This sh*t was just a lynching, similar to how white folks lynched blacks in the US 50 hyears ago. This stuff is indefensible. Stop defending stuff like this out of national pride.

I have to get at one brother that made some faulty statements about the Caribbean. Don't lump Afro-Caribbeans in with Afro-Americans. Take that black = black rhetoric somewhere else. If you on some pan-African stuff I'm feeling you, but you need to understand we're not the same and never will be.

Afro-Americans got no real distinguishable connection with Africa, apart from maybe these geechi's. You got no real culture, only slaveculture. In the Caribbean and Latin America people of African descent like myself know where they come from. It's in our culture, the practising of indigenous religions, our music, dress and food. In many countries you got so called maroon communities who have maintained their African identity. In my Island Curaçao alot of Africans came from the region that is now called Guinee and the region now called Angola/ Congo. We get this through the language, religion and even physical traits. Alot of so called black Dominicans came from Yorubaland. Their indigenous religion santeria shares siimilarities with Yoruba religion. The same goes for Afro-Cubans. Alot of Afro-Columbians are originally from the region now called Congo. Jamaicans are mostly from Akan tribes in Ghana. Same with blacks from Suriname where my father's from. In certain parts of Suriname, Akan related languages are still spoken and the culture is still practised. Anthropologists from all over the world visit Suriname to study these people. Haitians largely came from the region that is now called Benin.

Afro-Caribbeans still have a cultural identity, not just a slave culture. Being black means something totally different to an Afro-Caribbean than to an AA.

The African identity has almost litterally been beat out of AA's. These white folks can do anything to you and all you do is complain and hope they stop messing with you. AA's had no successfull revolution, while in the whole Caribbean and Latin America revolutions were commonplace. AC's ain't scared of white folks like alot of AA's are. No coincidence Denmark Vesey, Marcus Mosiah Garvey, the man in your avi, Stokely, Malcolm X and even Farakhan are all from the Caribbean. most revolutionary activities in the US were headed by men from the Caribbean.

Haïti is the most known place, but you had and still have so called maroon communities and palenques where the descendants of runaway slaves established communities and retained their identity.

An AC don't have to take a fraudulent test to establish where they're from.

Offtopoc but ain't Youngice that lesbian chick from Canada that was exposed years ago?

so basically you saying....us american niggas aint got shit going for us? an you saying thanks to the help of our caribbean brothers....oh wait i cant say that...the caribbean dark people helped us get to where we are?

so you saying because our ancestors were beat into submission and til this day we still fight for equal right...that we should look to the caribbean people as leaders and as a blueprint to follow? you are saying no revolutions happened in america that was lead by an american black? you are saying we are afraid of white people.

i think it is alot of blanket statements you state that are totally untrue. but i understand. it kinda sounds like we are better than them.

i think that is my problem.

personally...and this is just me. i dont care where you are from. if i run into a black person anywhere, i will acknowledge them before i do anyone else. outside of whatever culture you are from, the world sees black skin and black is equal to bad things in their mind. dont really care where you go.

in all my travels i notice one thing....everyone else is bound by color then culture. if a white dude is getting beat down by two black dudes....white people will side with the white person....doesnt really matter where he is from. that shit is not important now.

if i see any black person in trouble most likely i will do what i can to help as long as im not in danger. fukk everyone else.

i do it because i can understand the struggle if someone wants to admit it or not.

we can respect each others culture, but have to understand we are seen as the same. the faster we realize this, the easier it will be to do what we need to do.

lastly....you'd be surprised how many AA's actually do alot to help in the caribbean as well as in the states....

i can go on but i think i'll stop here

Whoa hold up, maybe I wasn't clear but my post wasn't meant to polarize or come off like I didn't respect any culture. Just to make it clear I see AA's as my brothers and I have been influenced by them alot. If you'd visit my island or the other Dutch Antillian islands you'd see how Americanized especially the younger generations are. Baseball is the most popular sport, need I say more?

I was schooling that brother that made some offpoint remarks about the Caribbean. While we're brothers and should work together, let's not act like we're some monolyth. Italians and English are both white and will get on one page, but they're not the same. That was my point.

That onedrop rule is nonsense. Only AA's are on that bullsh*t because their master's forced that racist racial stratification system on 'em. Stop letting anybody claim you. It's gotten to point where people like Soledad O'Brien can claim black. Obama was embraced by black women eventhough he's a halfbreed, he grew up with his white mother and her family and never interacted with black folks till he got with Michelle. Blacks need to stop claiming any and everybody. A weak link breaks the chain...

i dont think we let anyone claim us....we actually think its funny an use it to show white people how stupid they can be.

the white say it to secure their wealth and pro-white ideas that white is better. well we say ...oh yeah..well such and such has a drop of black..now what?

most people want to be black and act black until like i said earlier...until the cops are called.

as for the president....when he does bad hes black but when he makes history white point out hes half white.

its very entertaining

Ok maybe that's you but I've seen alot of AA's regurgitate that one drop nonesense, saying stuff like "one drop makes you whole." You devalue your race when you allow mixed breeds into your circle.

I mean, Mariah Carey was claiming black after her marriage with Tommy Mottola ended. When she came out she didn't claim it like that. Some of these people are only claiming black because these white folks don't accept them because of their skin colour. They also wanna claim black because some blacks will treat them like they're better than real blacks.

Alot of white folks who you wouldn't guess got African ancestry. That onedrop rule is racist and 'we' shouldn't internalize it.
