The DR constitution states that being born in DR DOES NOT grant you automatic Dominican citizenship, if you are of foreign descent. Furthermore (not sure if this has been stated in this thread already, too much to read) out of the 210 or so developed world countries....160 of them have that same stip in their constitution (The US being an exception).
Im not taking sides in this.....abuse is abuse and I'm not for it, but in DR, they tend to take matters into their own hands when dealing w criminals.

@Zombie, America provided the blueprint to Germany for the Holocaust and were A1 perpetrators of slavery....in addition to what was done to the Native Americans and the middle eastern folks. When it comes to morality, they are the last example you should be using in that argument.
I'm not defending DR's actions, if what was depicted in that opening pic was what it claims to be.....but countries have constitutions in place, and they have to be followed.

I was not using America as an example of morality, I exposing the hypocrisy of Dominicans who don't respect Haitians in there country but expect to be treated with respect elsewhere.
Law is made for man. Man was not made for law. Slavery was once the law of the land, so what would you those laws also.
