"doesnt mean everybody can understand and why It would be a "southern classic" unless youve lived or are living where that music is coming from? Just saying I know they arent certified classics like The Chronic or Illmatic but I understand why some would label them as regional classics. It fits perfect for that region and unless youve been able to experience that lifestyle of that region your prolly not gonna understand it"- HLF

If you dont then.. cool

I overstand it

its jus dont make sense to say somethin is a regional classic

when its bein played coast2coast

as I said, if the artist is only known in that region its makes more sense to say "regional classic"

"Sippin On Some Syrup" was nationally played too but that doesnt mean everybody can understand and why It would be a "southern classic" unless youve lived or are living where that music is coming from. It fits perfect for that region and unless youve been able to experience that lifestyle of that region your prolly not gonna understand it which is prolly why you call bs

I was living in NY when HCP and 6661 came out, and alot of peoplein knew in HS fucked with both of them.

Don't know why everyone is sleeping on To Tha X-Treme by Devin the Dude but it's excellent from start to finish even at 80 minutes.

Other than that:
Geto Boys - The Geto Boys, We Can't Be Stopped, Till Death Do Us Part, The Resurrection, The Foundation
Scarface - Mr. Scarface is Back, The World is Yours, The Diary, The Fix
UGK - Super Tight, Ridin' Dirty, Underground Kingz
2 Live Crew - As Nasty As They Wanna Be (excellent summer record that always makes me picture driving by Miami Beach in a hot sunny day every time)
Eightball & MJG - On Top of the World
