I don't know who is worst, Fantasia or Keysha Cole; taking care of these lazy ass niggas. My moms is the only person i would ever give money to, i would pay for education fof my nieces and nephews though.

I don't really think she fell off to have to make a comeback. She always gets love, its just the single selection was off for the last album like thread starter says. That single sounds like it goes hard. Hopefully she does stay away from the hybrid R&B.

Fantasia could have a chance for a solid comeback; however, her first single HAS to knock it out of the park. I'm talking a "Be Without You", "We Belong Together" type record...a song that has major crossover appeal and can be played on all formats.

I'd like to see her do a jazz-type inspired album, though. She has to vocal chops to pull it off, i.e., "Summertime."

But I don't think she can afford to take that type of artistic risk right now. She needs a hit, and bad.

Well her last album didnt do all that great in comparison to her first. But I was referring more to a comeback from her hiatus. It's seriously here today and gone today in the industry right now. I can understand why artists dont want to take breaks when we really NEED some of them to take breaks lol. It's been frustrating enough to watch usher who went from a diamond album to struggling with the rest after his time off.

She might have a chance, but I think all of these R&B chick reality shows are lame. Its like a competition to see who has more most drama in their life.

Yeah...I see what you mean. If you don't stay out there, there's a good chance no one will remember your name. Unless you're someone like Maxwell or Sade...but Fannie has a way to go before she reaches either of their status. And Usher...that's my boo. I swear I love some Usher. So he got this next album to prove to me he still got it. The strange thing is I had a dream the other night that Usher died. Definitely can't figure that one out.

That song is nice, but they could give her something stronger. I don't like the fact that on her singles she doesn't really showcase her voice. Fantasia needs songs with soul. She should develop a new niche for herself, a little bit of classic soul with that new school funk. That would be hot for her. I guess Move on Me is an example of that.

it's a nice song...not surprised at the pop feel.
Labels do what they must i suppose
but it's not really fantasia

Fantasia has a chance. Really depends on how good her single is. She isn't good, but she's been known for everything outside of R&B and it hasn't honestly helped her. From the reading to the fuckery now on the show. She's not bad tho. But under the right production machine and big name, anyone can sell. Look for her to experiment with that

lol @ Fantasia isn't good. But you can tell she's trying to cross over. You can hear the pop sensibilities in "Even Angels." It's a nice song.
