It was big news when it came out a few years ago. I bought the book she wrote after that article as well.
For pure fact-gathering, it's very accurate. I represent exactly the kind of man she is writing about. I'm almost a caricature of it, actually. Unfortunately for the women that have to mate with us, our current lives are more fun than the options women present to us.
