They might be very responsible at work, great friends to their boys, caring of their families, etc. They just don't want the domestic trappings most women are offering. That's not 'immature', it's something else. We don't have a good word for it yet.

look at the ages of the professional skateboarders and bmx bike riders and other x-games sports. do you see 30yr old women turning double dutch, hop scotch and jacks into competitive, professional sports?. we move on past that stage on look for other social milestones in life

Tony Hawk is probably pushing 40 and he still does the skateboarding thing. So are you saying that he isn't behaving like a grown man even though the skateboarding thing is what's making him rich and supporting his family? You're not making sense. Basically, in your opinion, any guy who enjoys activities that you don't like or understand is immature. That's about as dumb as stance as you can take. What about those women who are professional shoppers? Or what about women who are trying to be models? To the thread tho, they mature faster physically not mentally. So they end up being a little girl in a grown womans body and get taken advantage of most of thier late teenage/early adult years because they chasing older guys who only want them for thier mature body.

Female skaters, gymnasts, ballerinas, singers, etc. Women can't turn most of their hobbies into spectator sports because nobody wants to watch them. And when there is a sport people want to watch, like bikini football, ugly and fat women complain until the event is shut down.

to me much of maturity is in our control of our emotions and impulses, our ability to behave rationally instead of responding reflexively. also, the ability to empathize with others.... with that being said studies have shown that girls begin puberty approximately two years before boys. during which their brains make the all-important hook-up between the emotion center of the brain and the language / reason-rationality center of the brain.... so i do think there is some truth to it....

however one's attitude towards marriage or one's hobbies for the most part is not really a great indicator of maturity or lack thereof...a woman could want to marry and have children at an early age but that doesn't make her any more mature than the middle aged bachelor. she could be marrying whoever to please her family or to impress her friends or because she didn't want to be alone, which in my eyes is a sure sign of immaturity... the middle aged bachelor could have a great career, fiscally responsible, a great friend, son, father, brother, etc and a video game player but he's single because he knows he isn't the marrying type...what's so immature about that?

also i am a grown ass woman i like to play video games from time to time.... but i handles my business

Thank you. When I pointed out that grown men marry younger women, it wasnt to show that younger women are more mature. It was to show that these grown men are immature, because if they weren't they would be looking to marry someone more on their "level"; or maybe they are which is why they marry younger women?

You gotta think about it like this..an exec at a record company can go after some young attractive street rapper that will HAPPILY sign his life away for 1 mill while the exec makes 10 mill off of him. An older rapper will know better than that and the exec will have to pay alot more into the artist.

So once you are an older man with position and finances it only makes sense to chase younger, more attractive women. They outweigh the benefit an older woman brings.
