yea but the bible doesnt give info on the time frame i which these disasters will occur and the bible also states that it will be the worst period of time in mankind i belive it was something along the lines of "if those days were not cut short no flesh would be saved". a few hurricanes and earthquakes and dont signify the end of the world to me. this planet has been through worse. it just seems more devistating to us because we are living in it, and lets face it humans are softer than they were 100's of years ago.

Agreed, my whole issue is that I was taught this as a child and being that i'm now a grown ass man I can actively see things getting worse, especially last 10yrs........Maybe I'm using this thread to retrace my spirtuality. Alot of shit in the bible is slow but surely being forfilled.

That world is about to end bullshit is annoying. Everything that is happening and all of these weather anomalies have happened many times before. The bottom line is the planet isn't going anywhere and it will be here long after we are gone. Natural disasters are more noticeable today then in the early ages because of over population and the demographic areas people choose to live in. My heart goes out to Japan.

I'm far from the preaching type and today is the first time I picked up a bible in over 10 years, but like I said before I was taught this shit at a young age and I feel like certain prophecys are coming true. This shit was written thousands of years ago. Is it me or does it seem to be playing out?

Anyway thats me for a Friday night, I'm supposed to be out sinning and breaking laws.

But to me all I see is Tsnami today, uprising in the middle east yesterday and Haiti last year.......surely something to think about?
