It's not at all shocking and at this point, I'm never surprised as to anything we are capable of or how we contribute to the planets destruction. If we were to disappear off the face of the earth tomorrow, you think nature would be negatively affected? That would be cause for it to celebrate. But on the other hand, there is no us without her.
