I'm actually not a big QT fan. There are some abrupt deaths that you have to expect from QT, he has them in all his movies, its just his style of violence. But I really thought this was an awesome movie, and the soundtrack was also awesome.

It was better than Inglorious Bastards. Easily.

The Django theme song at the beginning was very good. But the rest of the film was him basically ripping off Ennio Morricone songs and that Rick Ross track to me was so out of place. I did like that one scene with the 2pac lyrics though.

He also ripped off the Django theme song from the original Django movie.

The heroes in the story opposed slavery and all of those in favor of it were made to look like villains

I think they could have done better to paint it in a negative light, but they sure as hell did not make it seem better than it was

that being said, i think my favorite part of the movie was the idea of the bounty hunter. The fact that the government basically had paid assassins to find and kill criminals was funny as fuck to me.

It was in some ways and wasn't in others.

Inglorious basterds did a nice job excluding racist Hitler rants. It actually would have been much better if there was a scene like the one with Leonardo and the skull in IB.
