Why weren't Jews treated sub human in inglorious basterds? They didn't even show many victims in that movie. No one made Jews are sub human jokes. It's cuz Jews run this shit and Hollywood knows it. Bottom line is the holocaust is looked at as worse than slavery in this country

To be fair, inglorious basterds never really focused on the holocaust. It was more along the lines of events surrounding the war, especially the cinema period during that time. So they didn't really show u the horrific events that happened at a concentration or death camp like they went to the fields in the antebellum south in django. There really wasn't even that much confrontation between Nazis and Jews period. If at all. Maybe be if it did include that u would've saw Jews being treated subhuman and definitely more victims

speaking of I would like to see someone eventually tackle that. Someone who could mix the atrocities of the holocaust with dark humor. I mean there have been movies in the past that infused humor with the holocaust like life is beautiful and Jakob the liar. But it wast really dark. It was more situational and inspirational

This is my point. They can't show Concentration camp brutality in "Basterds" but they can show Plantation Brutality. Slavery was America's Holocaust. The Jews actually got reparations. Slaves are still waiting on that 40 acres and a mule. Here is a Jewish Version of Django I wrote, now tell me Hollywood would of green lit this:

Auschwitz Unchained:

A Jew being held at a concentration camp in Auschwitz is freed by a German Dr Bounty Hunter looking for a bounty on one of Hilters Top generals during the Holocaust. He goes to Auschwitz to find a Jew who's family was torn apart by this general. He frees and trains him and agrees to help him find his wife who is being held hostage at Hilter's Layer. They go from concentration camp to camp killing Nazi's until they get to the layer taking out Hilters personal guards, the general and then killing Hitler and saving his wife. There are 109 Jewish Slurs, 70's Music and Campy Jokes. Meanwhile we see the horrors of gassing, and death at the concentration camps.

white ppl get a few laughs and dont fel bad when they laugh at the way slavery is depicted cuz of QT's style of filmaking, so this movie will be praised. when in reality this is easily QT's worst film to date (KB 1&2, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, IB were all better)

but becuz he was able to succesfully make light of Americas worse bit of history this will get Oscars

I believe Thomas Jefferson estimated that it would take approx. 200 years for the Negro to get over slavery.

If the Jews don't have to get over the holocaust, then black people shouldn't have to ever get over slavery.

To get over is to forget. The purpose of history is to learn from it. You will never hear anyone tell the Jews to get over their persecution under Nazi Germany. You will never hear anyone tell the Japanese to get over the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagisaki. The African slave trade was more protracted and horrendous than both tragedies. And yet were suppose to get over it.

This government has done a great job at down playing the significance of slavery. Very rarely are we given the true horrific details of it. Thus why you have whites and Negros alike often making a mockery of it. Negros don't even respect the struggle of their ancestors enough to know when their being mocked. It's incredible.
